On August 29, 2025, the duty-free exemption for most shipments to the USA was removed. This means that parcels from outside the USA may be subject to customs duties and taxes.
An exception applies to private shipments (sent to relatives or friends) containing gifts. The value of gifts delivered to the address of a single recipient on a single day must not exceed 100 USD. Otherwise, the recipient will have to pay taxes and customs duties.

The second-longest side exceeds 76 cm
The total of length + 2 × width + 2 × height exceeds 266 cm
Packaging:
The parcel is not fully enclosed in a cardboard shipping container
Packaging is not made of corrugated cardboard (e.g. metal, wood, fabric, leather, plastic, or styrofoam packaging)
The outer surface is wrapped in shrink wrap or regular film
The parcel is round or cylindrical in shape (e.g. tubes, cans, baskets, barrels, tires, drums, buckets)
The packaging has metal, plastic, or fabric surfaces, wheels, handles, straps, or protruding parts
The packaging could damage other shipments or interfere with FedEx’s sorting system
Weight:
The actual weight of the parcel exceeds 25 kg
Parcel shape and size may change during transportation, potentially affecting surcharge eligibility. We reserve the right to adjust the surcharge if shipment parameters change.
The fee is charged per shipping unit, even if multiple packages are included in one shipment.If a parcel qualifies for multiple surcharge categories (size, weight, packaging), only the highest applicable surcharge will be applied.
FedEx may apply additional charges if the parcel requires special handling or extra packaging to ensure safe transportation.
