You can register and ship only one package or envelope per order. If you have more packages to send to one recipient, register each one separately. For each shipment (i.e. package or envelope) registered on Meest Post, you will receive a unique number that will be used for its identification and tracking.
-
Will I have to pay customs duty and VAT?
When sending parcels within the European Union, no customs formalities or fees apply. Such parcels are handled in the same way as domestic shipments.
However, when delivering a parcel to a country outside the European Union, the recipient may be required to pay customs duties and VAT.
In our service, it is possible to send parcels to the following countries where customs limits apply:
Ukraine — up to 150 EUR,
Canada — up to 20 CAD,

United Kingdom — up to 39 GBP.
⚠️ Note: If the value of the shipment exceeds the specified limits, the recipient will have to pay customs duties and VAT in accordance with the laws of the destination country.
-
How to correctly declare package contents?
If you’re sending a package within the European Union, you need only describe the contents of the parcel in general terms.
For packages leaving the EU customs area, a more detailed declaration of the contents is required – a so-called customs declaration. In the customs declaration enter the first 3 letters of the product name and select the product from the drop-down list If your product is not on the list, write to us – we will supplement the database of supported goods -
What is volumetric weight and why may the price of a parcel change when parcel dimensions change?
The volumetric weight represents the volume of the parcel and is taken into account when estimating the delivery price. If a parcel weighs little but is large, the cost of delivery will be affected by the amount of space it takes up during transport. In the event that the volumetric weight (calculated according to the formula: length x width x height of the parcel / 5000) is greater than the actual weight of the parcel, you will see the price for the volumetric weight.
-
How long does it take to deliver a parcel from the time it is sent?
The delivery time depends on the country of origin and the destination country of the parcel. For deliveries within the European Union, the estimated delivery time is 2–5 business days. Parcels sent to Ukraine are delivered from 4 business days, although the final delivery time also depends on customs clearance procedures in Ukraine. The estimated delivery time is displayed on the website when selecting the shipping and delivery options.
-
How to prepare a package for shipping?
Pack the items you are sending in a cardboard box and seal it, preferably all around, with wide adhesive tape. The packaging should protect the contents from external factors. To prevent items from moving inside the package, fill the empty spaces in the box with crumpled paper, bubble wrap, or another filler. If you are sending documents or other papers, pack them in a courier envelope.
-
What documents should I enclose with my parcel?
The electronic shipment form allows a label with the recipient’s address details and a declaration of contents to be generated online and enclosed with a parcel in the operating warehouse of Meest Polska. You don’t need to include any documents in your parcel. If required by the chosen shipping method – attach the shipping label you’ve received from Meest Post on your parcel.
