  • How much does it cost to send a package?

The delivery price depends on the selected shipping method, country of delivery, as well as the weight and dimensions of the package. The exact price of a service can be found by using the delivery cost calculator available on our website or the Price List.

  • How do I pay for postage?

meestpost.com offers various online payment methods. You can pay postage using fast transfer systems such as PayU, a payment card or traditional transfer.

  • How many packages can I send within one order?

You can register and ship only one package or envelope per order. If you have more packages to send to one recipient, register each one separately. For each shipment (i.e. package or envelope) registered on Meest Post, you will receive a unique number that will be used for its identification and tracking.

  • Will I have to pay customs duty and VAT?

For deliveries to countries outside the European Union, the recipient may be obliged to pay customs duty and VAT.

For deliveries to Ukraine, parcels with a total weight of up to 50 kg and a total declared value of up to EUR 150, delivered on the same day to a single recipient, are exempt from customs and tax charges. So, if your parcel does not exceed these parameters, there should be no need to pay customs duty and tax.

  • How to correctly declare package contents?

If you’re sending a package within the European Union, you need only describe the contents of the parcel in general terms.
For packages leaving the EU customs area, a more detailed declaration of the contents is required – a so-called customs declaration. In the customs declaration enter the first 3 letters of the product name and select the product from the drop-down list If your product is not on the list, write to us – we will supplement the database of supported goods

  • What is volumetric weight and why may the price of a parcel change when parcel dimensions change?

The volumetric weight represents the volume of the parcel and is taken into account when estimating the delivery price. If a parcel weighs little but is large, the cost of delivery will be affected by the amount of space it takes up during transport. In the event that the volumetric weight (calculated according to the formula: length x width x height of the parcel / 5000) is greater than the actual weight of the parcel, you will see the price for the volumetric weight.

  • How long does it take to deliver a parcel from the time it is sent?

The time of delivery depends on the country of dispatch and the country of delivery. For deliveries within the European Union, the estimated time of delivery is 2–5 business days. Parcels sent to Ukraine are delivered to recipients within 8-14 business days, and delivery times are also dependent on the operations of the customs offices in Ukraine. The estimated time of delivery is presented on our website when selecting shipment and delivery options.

  • How to prepare a package for shipping?

Pack the goods in a cardboard box and tape it up, preferably all around, with wide adhesive tape. The packaging should protect the contents against external factors. To prevent the goods from moving around, fill up any empty spaces inside the box with crumpled paper, bubble wrap or some other filler.

  • What documents should I enclose with my parcel?

The electronic shipment form allows a label with the recipient’s address details and a declaration of contents to be generated online and enclosed with a parcel in the operating warehouse of Meest Polska. You don’t need to include any documents in your parcel. If required by the chosen shipping method – attach the shipping label you’ve received from Meest Post on your parcel.
